Children hurt in Meath schoolbus accident

A number of children are reported to have been injured in an accident involving a schoolbus in Co Meath.

It is understood the single-decker and two cars collided at Casey’s crossroads on Kentstown Road in Navan shortly after 4pm.

The school bus overturned. Gardaí say fire fighters have been trying to cut some of the injured free.

Emergency services are at the scene and a lifting crane is on its way.
