Gardaí are investigating after the body of a man was discovered in Co Donegal this morning.

Gardaí are investigating after the body of a man was discovered in Co Donegal this morning.

The discovery was made in the Letterkenny area, and comes in the wake of an extensive search for a patient who went missing from Letterkenny General Hospital two weeks ago.

Michael Bruce, a married father of two, was reported missing from the hospital's campus on January 7.

Gardaí have not yet said whether they are treating the find as suspicious.
