Yahoo! Inc. 'set to shed jobs worldwide'

It has been reported that Yahoo! Inc. is set to shed up to 2,000 jobs from its global operations.

This would represent a 14% cut in its worldwide workforce.

The internet giant has a European base in Dublin, but it is not clear at this stage whether any Irish staff will be affected.
