Truckers 'kicked to death' by Budget increases

Jimmy Quinn of the Road Haulage Association has said the 5c per litre increase in petrol and diesel prices is an attack on truckers.

Jimmy Quinn of the Road Haulage Association has said the 5c per litre increase in petrol and diesel prices is an attack on truckers.

He says that truck drivers refuse to take the 'thousand cuts' every budget and that they are getting "kicked to death".

Mr Quinn insists that if horses and stallions were running on petrol, they would not be taxed as much.
