Garda seek information on body found in freezer

Gardaí are seeking information on the identity of a man whose body was found in a refrigerated unit at the rear of a fish shop on Henry Street in Galway city yesterday afternoon as murder.

Gardaí are seeking information on the identity of a man whose body was found in a refrigerated unit at the rear of a fish shop on Henry Street in Galway city yesterday afternoon as murder.

Investigators believe he was aged between 30 and 40, 6ft in height, of a stocky, muscular build and with graying, light brown hair.

He was wearing a brown leather jacket, a dark coloured jumper, blue jeans and black shoes when he was found.

Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to contact them.
