Cork's hurlers received a boost today with news that Eoin Cadogan may be available for the Munster SHC quarter-final clash with Tipperary on Sunday, May 30.
The full back is suffering with a shin injury, but is making good progess.
Midfielder Tom Kenny is in danger of missing the game.
Kenny suffered a hamstring injury and had to be replaced during his club Genagh's Cork PIFC defeat to St Michael's at the weekend.
Cork boss Denis Walsh is anxiously awaiting confirmation of the extent of the injury.
The 28-year-old Kenny has been a regular in the Rebels' line-up since bursting onto the inter-county scene as a dual player back in 2003.
Cork and Tipperary met at the same stage of the Munster Championship last year, with Tipp claiming a 1-19 to 0-19 victory at Semple Stadium.
