Frankie Cocozza has told a magazine that "drugs are vile".
The singer left the X Factor after a crew member apparently overheard the singer claiming he took cocaine at a party.
Show bosses confirmed that Frankie had left the show after breaking one of the programme's "golden rules", but would not confirm the drug-comment claims.
