Gardaí in Co Galway are renewing their appeal for information on a man whose body was found in Barna last year.

The body was found at Rusheen Bay Woods on September 20, 2014.

Despite an international investigation and a facial reconstruction project (the result of which is pictured below), the man has not been identified.

He is described as being aged between 30 and 40, 6 feet tall, with black hair and a broad build.

He was wearing a gold bracelet watch, a black leather jacket, a longsleeved microfleece top, blue jeans and white and blue runners.

The clothing worn by the deceased man is a brand mostly sold in Canada.
