Man arrested in connection with Limerick death

A man in his early forties has been arrested in connection with last Tuesday's murder of a 22-year-old man in Limerick.

A man in his early forties has been arrested in connection with last Tuesday's murder of a 22-year-old man in Limerick.

Gardaí say the man was not known to them at the time of his arrest at Roxboro Garda Station.

He was detained under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for a maximum of 12 hours without being charged.

Seamus O'Toole from Hospital, Co Limerick, was found stabbed to death at Catherine Place in Limerick.
