Five housemates will battle it out in this year’s Big Brother final after a mass eviction.
Dave joins Josie, Andrew, Mario and JJ in Tuesday’s 11th series showdown, with country girl Josie 8/13 to win the series according to bookies.
Last night four housemates were given the boot, injured soldier Steve, Corin, Sam Pepper and John James.
After the final, the winner will re-enter the house for a further two weeks, to compete against well-known names from past series of Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother, in Ultimate Big Brother.
Steve, who lost both legs and an eye in a bomb attack in Northern Ireland, was the first housemate booted out last night.
The audience gave the father-of-eight from Leicester a resounding cheer as he left the house and gave the crowd the thumbs-up.
Steve, 40, admitted he found it difficult after one of his best friends left the house, saying: “After Keeley went it all went downhill. We enjoyed a lot of banter.”
Corin, who was the bookies’ second favourite to win the show, was the second housemate evicted.
Before the announcement, the 29-year-old said: “It’s gonna be me, I can feel it.”
Graffiti artist Sam Pepper, 21, attached a fake moustache as he left the complex, saying he “just wanted to wind someone up” during his time in the house.
However, he said did not try any of his controversial tricks on Steve.
“I was scared of Steve,” he told Davina. “He has got a military background and he would give me a good one-two if I stepped out of line.”
Sam added that he wanted Josie, Mario or Andrew to win the show.
John James, 24, was the fourth and final housemate kicked out last night.
Josie, who has enjoyed an on-off romance with the Australian, cried as she hugged him goodbye, telling him: “Sorry.”
John James was booed as he left the house but simply smiled.
