Graham Dwyer trial: Prosecution expected to finish summing up today

It is expected the prosecution will finish summing up its case to the jury in the Graham Dwyer murder trial later this morning.

The architect from Kerrymount Close, Foxrock in Dublin denies fatally stabbing childcare worker Elaine O'Hara at Killakee Mountain in August 2012.

It is the prosecution's case that Graham Dwyer was fully aware the childcare worker had been in a psychiatric hospital and that her death could be seen as suicide.

Once the prosecution finishes, Remy Farrell for the defence will address the jury.

Afterwards, the jury will have the weekend off-duty, before the judge addresses them on Monday. The jury may retire to consider their verdict as early as next Tuesday.
