Armed police have entered the hospital and are believed to be on the lookout for a man who may have entered the hospital, possibly from nearby Warren Street tube station, one of the scenes of today's incidents.

Just one injury has so far been reported in today's incidents, which centred on three tube stations and a bus in Hackney in east London.

There were four blasts or attempted blasts, London's Metropolitan Commissioners said.
