Two arrested after Athlone drugs find
Gardai in the midlands have arrested two people, a man and a woman, following the seizure of 5,000 ecstasy tablets in Athlone, Co Westmeath this morning.
The pair were arrested under section two of the Drug Trafficking Act and are being quizzed at garda stations in Longford and Athlone.
They can be held for up to seven days, when they must then be charged or released.
