Man dies after Dublin stabbing

A man in his 50s has died in hospital after being stabbed during a disturbance in a flat in Dublin’s north inner city.

A man in his 50s has died in hospital after being stabbed during a disturbance in a flat in Dublin’s north inner city.

The man was found with stab wounds in a flat on Nelson Street at around 9.25pm and was pronounced dead in the nearby Mater Hospital less than an hour later.

Gardaí, who are treating the incident as murder, arrested a woman at the scene and she is being questioned this morning in Mountjoy Garda Station. A post mortem is due to be carried out on the body later today.
