25,000 ecstasy tablets seized in north Dublin

Gardai in Dublin have arrested two men in connection with the seizure of 25,000 ecstasy tablets in the north inner city early this morning.

Gardai in Dublin have arrested two men in connection with the seizure of 25,000 ecstasy tablets in the north inner city early this morning.

The drugs were found on the men when officers stopped them on Dorset Street just after midnight.

The pair are being detained in Store Street under Section Two of the Drug Trafficking Act.

Gardai said the ecstasy tablets had an estimated street value of €300,000.
