Norman Moffat, 73, was knifed by a youth in Coleraine, Co Londonderry, Northern Ireland as he went to buy his morning newspaper on January 26.

The attack at the junction of Railway Road and Circular Road was captured on close circuit television.

One man was questioned about the attack and released on police bail.

Royal Ulster Constabulary detectives investigating the stabbing have made a fresh appeal for information.

They want anyone who can help to identify a youth seen making off from the scene via a nearby alley to contact them.
