Paul McGinley has had a bad start to his first US Masters as he ran up a bogey on each of the opening two holes.
The Dubliner landed to the right of the green in two at the first, left his chip 18 feet short and bogeyed.
He then ran up a six on the 575-yard second to stand two over. McGinley was playing with Jesper Parnevik, who missed a three-foot par putt on the first.
Belfast's Michael Hoey has fared better early on, however. The Irish amatuer made a birdie at the par five to leave him level after three holes.
