Ryan Guy scored the winning goal to ensure St. Pat’s poor season finished on a high as they avoided the relegation play-offs in a dramatic last league game of the season at Richmond Park.

Guy struck for the only goal of the game on 39 minutes, heading home Glen Fitzpatrick’s delightful cross.

Visiting keeper Alan Mannus made a terrific double save from Stuart Byrne and Guy to keep Rovers in it until the break.

St. Pat’s keeper Brendan Clarke then rescued his side saving second half shots from Craig Sives and Paddy Kavanagh.
