A California radio DJ has been suspended after advising listeners on the best way to kidnap and kill children.
After hearing about the seven-year-old Philadelphia girl who escaped her captors by gnawing through duct tape, Mikey Esparza of KSJO-FM in San Jose said that was why he preferred to use nylon rope on victims.
He then said kidnappers could buy supplies, including chemicals to dissolve the body, at a local hardware shop that advertised on KSJO.
The station issued an immediate apology, and the hardware shop withdrew its adverts. "We were not comfortable with the comment," said KSJO spokesman Joe Cunningham.
