Robbie Keane brought his LA Galaxy teammates to a very special training session yesterday - with Special Olympics Ireland’s 11-a-side and 5-a-side soccer teams in Malahide.

The MLS champions are in Dublin for the week as part of a European pre-season tour and Robbie has been showing them the sights ahead of their friendly match against Shamrock Rovers on Saturday.

The Dubliner used the opportunity to involve his team in a project very close to his heart - Special Olympics Ireland.

He and his wife Claudine work as ambassadors for the organisation as they prepare for the next Special Olympics - taking place in LA this summer.

So they were delighted to arrange a joint session in Gannon Park yesterday - with the teams training together.

LA Galaxy's Oscar Sorto and Special Olympics Ireland's Robert Byrne have a chat during the training session.
