Two people are thought to have been killed in Britain today when a glider crashed into a field, police said.

Two people are thought to have been killed in Britain today when a glider crashed into a field, police said.

The accident happened near the glider club on Struby Airfield, near the Lincolnshire village of Maltby le Marsh.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said two people were on board when the accident happened just after 12.10pm and both are thought to have died.
