Cork are struggling early in their All-Ireland hurling qualifier game against Galway at Semple Stadium.

Galway went into a five point to no score lead and Eugene Cloonan was causing early problems for the Cork back line.

Joe Deane grabbed Cork's first point from a free in the 15th minute and grabbed his second and Cork's first from play two minutes later.

Ben O'Connor added another later.
