The husband of a woman who died in last September’s attack on the World Trade Centre in New York is suing American Airlines for more than $50m (€57m).

The husband of a woman who died in last September’s attack on the World Trade Centre in New York is suing American Airlines for more than $50m (€57m).

The lawsuit accuses AA and the company responsible for security at Logan Airport in Boston of reckless misconduct and negligence.

It argues that security measures and passenger screening systems were insufficient to deal with the threat posed by terrorists.
