A man and a woman were today appearing in court charged with the murder of Liz Sherlock who was killed after being run over by a car driven by thieves who stole her handbag.
Jackie Moorhouse, 23, unemployed from West Hampstead and Mark Wooley, 35, a plasterer and tiler from Pentonville, both north London, were charged by detectives on Saturday night.
They were appearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court this morning.
Costume designer Mrs Sherlock, 42, died on Bank Holiday Monday after suffering horrific crush injuries after she chased the handbag thieves out of Euston station.
Mrs Sherlock, of Chiswick, west London, worked on BBC programmes including Last of the Summer Wine, It’s A Knockout and the Royal Variety Performance.
