Mubtaker could bid for his 14th career victory in the StanJamesUK.com Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket on Sunday.

Marcus Tregoning’s evergreen nine-year-old has already opened his account this season having landed the John Porter Stakes at Newbury last month on his reappearance.

Bandari and John Porter runner-up Munsef, owned like Mubtaker by Hamdan Al Maktoum, are also entered.

Enforcer, a close fourth in the Gordon Richards Stakes at Sandown on Friday, could attempt a mile and a half for the first time in the Group Two contest.

The colt’s trainer Willie Muir said: “He’s going over a mile and a half next time but whether it’s on Sunday or in the Coronation Cup I don’t know. We’ll monitor him through the week.”
