The Housing and Planning Minister has unveiled the Government's €290m euro plan to regenerate Limerick City.

Limerick city regeneration plan unveiled

The Housing and Planning Minister, Jan O'Sullivan, has unveiled the Government's €290m euro plan to regenerate Limerick City.

The ten-year plan will see €250m spent on physical projects, €30m on social, and €10m on economic projects.

The single largest spend will be €40m euro on the Coonagh-Knockalisheen Distributor Road.

While in Southill and Balliancurra Weston, some €16 million will be spent on the refurbishment of public and private houses.
