Dundalk face a tricky test if they are to stay top of the table as they travel to the UCD Bowl to take on UCD, kick-off 7.45pm.
Lilywhites boss Ian Foster welcomes back defender Wayne Hatswell and midfielder Tom Miller from suspension.
But the former Galway boss must plan without winger Ross Gaynor who is suspended.
Defender Michael Synnott (knee) is also out of contention as he awaits surgery on Tuesday, while midfielder Stephen McDonnell is on international duty with the Republic of Ireland Under-19s in Ukraine.
The Students have a fully fit squad to choose from with Andy Boyle the only player not available for selection.
Boyle is away with the Ireland Under-19 squad at a qualifying tournament in Ukraine.
UCD boss Martin Russell said: “They were impressive at Oriel Park (Dundalk winning 3-0). But we can do better and, with the playing surface at the Bowl improving all the time, I predict a closer call on Saturday.”
