Celtic will have to wait until tomorrow to discover the full extent of an ankle injury picked up by defender Stephen Crainey yesterday.
The youngster, a replacement for Joos Valgaeren, was stretchered off the field after 62 minutes of yesterday’s game against Dundee United following a clash with Jim Hamilton.
Preliminary x-rays revealed that there is no fracture, but manager Martin O’Neill will have to wait until tomorrow to see if Crainey has sustained any ligament damage.
