The Minister for Primary Care is to put her name forward for the next General Election.

Kathleen Lynch confirms her run for General Election in Cork

The Minister for Primary Care is to put her name forward for the next General Election.

Kathleen Lynch has released a statement this afternoon to confirm she will seek Labour party support to run in the Cork North Central constituency.

Minster Lynch said she has discussed areas of interest with Joan Burton and Brendan Howlin this weekend and can now put her name forward.

The selection convention will take place this Thursday.
