Armed robber leaves penniless after kids offer pocket money
An armed robber in Germany left empty-handed after two children offered him their pocket money.
He held up a babysitter at gunpoint in Schwanewede near Bremen, Germany, but when the kids came downstairs with their pocket money he left without a word, or any cash.
A police spokesman told The Local: “The children had heard what was going on from upstairs and came down with their money, all their savings.
“The robber must have realised what he was doing was awful, and simply put his gun away and left."
