Curfews have been declared in the Egyptian capital Cairo, Alexandria and Suez after riot police fought running battles with protestors trying to oust President Hosni Mubarak.

Curfews have been declared in the Egyptian capital Cairo, Alexandria and Suez after riot police fought running battles with protestors trying to oust President Hosni Mubarak.

Two police stations were set on fire in Cairo as protestors ran rampant through the city.

In the canal city of Suez, protesters overran a police station, seized weapons and torched security force vehicles.

One protestor was killing during the clashes.

Egypt has been rocked by protests since Tuesday, with eight people killed, hundreds injured and some 1,000 arrested.
