The Immigrant Council of Ireland says foreign nationals in Ireland are facing huge challenges due to the economic downturn.

The Immigrant Council of Ireland says foreign nationals in Ireland are facing huge challenges due to the economic downturn.

Around 16% of the Irish workforce is made up of migrants and the majority are employed in sectors that have been particualarly hard-hit by the recession.

The ICI is calling on the Government not to forget the contribution made by these workers during the boom years of the Celtic Tiger.
