Cowen re-elected in Laois-Offaly
The Minister for Foreign Affairs has been re-elected in Laois-Offaly after the first round of counting.
Fianna Fail’s Brian Cowen beat the quota that was needed.
It is expected that with the transfers in the constituency, the PDs Tom Parlon will get a seat.
If this happens, the Progressive Democrats would have at least four seats in the 29th Dail.
