Woman to be sentenced over false report to gardaí

A 54-year-old woman is to be sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court in relation to making a false report to gardai last year.

A 54-year-old woman is to be sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court in relation to making a false report to gardai last year.

Liz Jameson of Marian Crescent, Rathfarnham pleaded guilty that on March 31, 2009 at Springfield Avenue, Dublin 6, she knowingly made a false report tending to show that an offence had been committed.

Judge Katherine Delahunt remanded Jameson on continuing bail until her sentence date on January 18 next when full facts will be heard in the case.
