Wing forward Jerry Murray scored a vital try nine minutes from time to break Terenure hearts at Lakelands.

The bottom club came from 7-15 down at the break to lead 17-15 with 12 minutes remaining.

Richie Governey's touchline conversion of Dermot Quinn's 60 minute try moved 'Nure to within a point of Cork Con.

He added a penalty to make it 17-15 before Con surged back to grab their third try through Murray.

Pat McCarthy converted and then added an injury time penalty to stretch the gap.
