The directors of Finding Nemo say they didn't feel under any pressure to deliver a box office hit.
The film is the latest release from the Pixar animation team, whose previous work includes both Toy Story films and Monsters Inc.
Finding Nemo tells the story of Marlin, a clown fish, who has to search the ocean for his missing son Nemo.
Since its release in America, the film has broken box office records and overtaken The Lion King as the highest grossing animated film of all time.
Directors Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrich said they weren't worried about how well Pixar's other films had done: "People think it put us under pressure," says Stanton.
"But the truth is, that kind of pressure has always been with us. We've had to go to the World Series and bat a home-run every time.
"Toy Story was the only movie where we probably didn't feel under those pressures because we were too ignorant to realise what kind of pressure we were under. We've just learnt to put up the blinkers and concentrate on what's at hand."
Pixar has created a niche for itself in animated films, but Unkrich says they'd be just as happy to make one with live actors. He said: "I think it's totally conceivable that at some point we'll make something in live action. It's going to take a story that we really feel we can tell that way."
For now the pair are enjoying letting audiences around the world see Finding Nemo, which took them four years to make. They're also not ruling out the possibility of returning to life under the sea.
"After Toy Story came out every body said 'Is there going to be another one? We all said 'No way!' But you never know - maybe we will do Finding Nemo 2!"
