Australia captured the inaugural Deaf Rugby Sevens World Cup, which has been run side-by-side with the first ever 15-man World Cup, in Auckland today.
The Aussies brushed off Japan, New Zealand and Wales in the pool section before hammering Japan 34-5 in the final.
This followed their third place finish in the 15-a-side tournament after losing out to New Zealand, 23-13, in the semi-final on Sunday.
The Kiwis will meet Wales at Eden Park in the final on Saturday.
