The Minister for Agriculture has confirmed that St Patrick's Day is to be celebrated next month after being cancelled because of foot-and-mouth disease.

The Minister for Agriculture has confirmed that St Patrick's Day is to be celebrated next month after being cancelled because of foot-and-mouth disease.

Joe Walsh made the announcement this afternoon.

The weekend of May 18-20 has been earmarked for the festivities.
