McGeeney hits back at TV pundits

Armagh skipper Kieran McGeeney has hit back at Sunday Game TV pundits who argued that he should have been sent off for continually fouling opponents during Sunday's semi-final defeat of Donegal.

Armagh skipper Kieran McGeeney has hit back at Sunday Game TV pundits who argued that he should have been sent off for continually fouling opponents during Sunday's semi-final defeat of Donegal.

McGeeney got involved in plenty of rough stuff and football commentator Pat Spillane joined Donegal goalkeeper Tony Blake in questioning the amount of fouls McGeeney committed.

But the player responded: "They never count up the fouls which are given against me. People in the media can do that. If anyone wants to watch the game again, they will see that every time I tackled, the ball popped out. I tackled the ball each time."
