Gardai name 17-year-old girl murdered in Dublin

Gardai have named the woman who was killed in south Dublin yesterday.

Gardai have named the woman who was killed in south Dublin yesterday.

She has been identified as 17-year-old Niamh Murphy from Salthill in Galway.

Gardai say that her throat has been slit and its thought that she had been dead for at least a day before her body was found in Ballsbridge yesterday.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out by the State Pathologist’s Office to determine the exact cause of death.
