FBI track activist to Dublin hospital

It has been revealed that an American fugitive, who was on the FBI's most-wanted list, worked for five days in a Dublin hospital earlier this year.

It has been revealed that an American fugitive, who was on the FBI's most-wanted list, worked for five days in a Dublin hospital earlier this year.

46-year-old anti-abortion activist, James Kopp, is being sought by the FBI in connection with the killing of a doctor in New York who carried out abortions.

Hume Street hospital released a statement today saying that Kopp worked in a clerical position in the hospital from January 29 to February 2.

The hospital stated he was recruited through a reputable staff recruitment agency.

The FBI tracked him down to Ireland and gardai were ready to move in on him when he fled to France, where he was arrested yesterday.

The US is now seeking his extradition.
