Michael Schumacher today gave Ferrari their sixth consecutive constructors’ championship crown and emphasised their position as Formula One’s dominant force - not only in the current era but throughout the sport’s history.

The Italian team have won more drivers’ and constructors’ title than any other, with the current generation of Formula One fans needing to look back a long way for a non-Ferrari title.

Michael Schumacher has won the last four drivers’ titles and is well on course for a fifth while the team have won every constructors’ crown since 1999.
