Jungle hosts give their views of Celebrity campmates

Ant and Dec believe it is impossible for the 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestants to put on an act.

The show's hosts insist conditions within the jungle mean the campmates very quickly have to show their real selves to their fellow celebrities.

Asked during a live twitter Q&A whether they think the contestants are being themselves, Ant tweeted: "Yes I do. You really can't hide the true you in camp for very long so I think they are themselves."

After years of working on the show, the presenting duo - whose full names are Anthony McPartland and Declan Donnelly - have some ideas of their own for Bushtucker Trials, but think they are so tough, they wouldn't be allowed.

Discussing a dream trial, Dec wrote: "It would be full of critters, snakes, rats, the lot! And it would be up high, without a harness. It would never be allowed! (sic)"

The pair also singled out 2006 contestant Dean Gaffney as taking part in their favourite ever trial, a live task called Jungle Spa.

Asked their best ever challenge, Ant tweeted: "It has to be Dean Gaffenys Live trail. (sic)"
