Liverpool can book a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League tonight when they meet Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen in the second leg of their quarter-final clash.
The Premiership side have a 1-0 aggregate lead going into tonight’s tie following Sami Hyypia’s goal at Anfield last week.
However, Leverkusen, who are currently four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, have won 13 of their last 15 home games and Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier is well aware of the threat they pose to his team.
In tonight’s other Champions League quarter-final, Panathinaikos take a 1-0 lead into their meeting with Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
