A 61 year old woman has died from inhiliation anthrax in the United States. Kathy Nguyen died three days after walking into the Lennox Hill Hospital in New York.
She worked in a department next to the mail room at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
The whole office has been tested, but so far there has been no trace of the spores and it is unclear how she picked the anthrax up.
A question mark now hangs on whether or not anthrax is being spread by means other than the mail.
She is the fourth person to die from anthrax.
