Limerick gardaí 'refuse to rule out foul play'

Gardaí are waiting for the results of a post-mortem on the body of a man, believed to be in his 30s, found dead in a river in Limerick today.

Gardaí are waiting for the results of a post-mortem on the body of a man, believed to be in his 30s, found dead in a river in Limerick today.

They have not ruled out foul play following the discovery in the Abbey river in the city this morning.

The deputy state pathologist will carry out the post mortem at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital this evening.
