Serena Williams powered her way past Germany's Barbara Rittner in the women's second round at Wimbledon.
Fifth-seeded Williams recovered from losing her very first service game to record a resounding 6-4 6-0 win on Centre Court.
It sets up a third round meeting with Switzerland's Emmanuelle Gagliardi, who earlier enjoyed a 6-1 6-2 win over Kristina Brandi of the USA.
Williams took time to find her range and her 52-ranked opponent gave her plenty of problems before her famous power saw her through.
Williams served three straight aces to clinch game seven then broke Rittner to 15 to take the first set 6-4.
Williams had no such problems in the second set, which she swept 6-0 with a typically powerful performance to move into the third round.
Elsewhere, number eight seed Justine Henin suffered a major scare before overcoming Kristine Boogert of Holland 5-7 7-5 6-2.
The emerging French Open semi-finalist was a set and 4-1 down, but fought back to set up a clash with world number 30 Lisa Raymond, conqueror of Britain's Karen Cross.
