Man arrested after fatal crash

A 34-year-old man was arrested after a woman was killed in a car accident in Wexford, gardaí said today.

A 34-year-old man was arrested after a woman was killed in a car accident in Wexford, gardaí said today.

The crash happened at around 9.40pm near Aske just outside Gorey, when two cars collided with each other.

The 37-year-old woman, a passenger in one of the cars died while the driver was taken to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the other car, a 34-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Wexford General Hospital for treatment to his injuries.
