Milo O'Shea and David Kelly are teaming up to make the quirky black comedy Mystics.
The film is about two old-time conmen who pretend to be able to communicate with the dead.
Maria Doyle Kennedy and Liam Cunningham are also in the cast.
It is being directed by David Blair in Dublin.
O'Shea, 75, became a Hollywood favourite in the 70s after starring with Jane Fonda in Barbarella. He recently completed Puckoon with Spike Milligan.
Kelly was once a leading sitcom star in Robin's Nest. He co-starred with the late Ian Bannen in Waking Ned.
Mystics is due to be released over Christmas.
