Mayo star Kieran McDonald failed to line out for Mayo in yesterday's FBD League final raising fresh fears that he may have quit his county.

Mayo star Kieran McDonald failed to line out for Mayo in yesterday's FBD League final raising fresh fears that he may have quit his county.

Speculation surrounding the Crossmolina man's future was tempered when he played for Mayo in the National League last month.

However Mayo boss John Maughan was at a loss to explain his latest absence and said: "Until I speak with him, I can't really make any comment."
